ТОКО
On 17.01.2022, NOBILIS ANIMO LTD launched the project 2021/584969 "TOKO - Innovative system for remote monitoring and health care". The project is implemented under the Programme „Business Development, Innovation and SMEs“, Bulgaria, funded by Norway Grants 2014-2021.
The main goal of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Nobilis Animo Ltd. by developing and positioning on the market innovative welfare technology aimed at improving the quality of life of the elderly and disabled people.
This will be achieved with the following specific objectives:
1) To research and develop innovative ICT-based technology for remote monitoring of the health of the elderly and people with chronic diseases.
2) To test and validate the developed technology among potential customers in Bulgaria and Norway - the elderly and people with chronic diseases.
3) To construct a working prototype of the final product - a system for remote monitoring of health.
4) To demonstrate the benefits of the developed prototype to potential customers
- the elderly, people with disabilities, their relatives, and doctors (general practitioners and specialists).
To achieve the project objectives Nobilis Animo Ltd. will rely on the partnership with the Norwegian company Infiniwell As. Through the partnership the software systems of Infiniwell As will be combined with the innovative devices for
telemonitoring that will be developed by Nobilis Animo Ltd.
The key project activities for reaching the defined goals are as follows:
- Activity 1 – Technical research, analyses, and technology validation (TRL5);
- Activity 2 – Technology demonstration in relevant environment (TRL 6+7);
- Activity 3 – System completion and CERTIFICATION;
- Activity 4 – Demonstration and system presentation.
The outcome of the project is “Increased competitiveness of Nobilis Animo Ltd. through development and positioning on the market of an innovative system for remote monitoring of the health of elderly and people with chronic diseases” called TOKO. The goal is TOKO to quickly establish itself as a leading product through the provision of quality social and health services to elderly around the world and this will help improving the quality of life of thousands of elderly and people in need of constant health care.
The total budget of the project is EUR 340,000 of which EUR 199,300 is a grant from Norway Grants 2014-2021.
